Discover Loch Ness & Inverness on a Scenic Beauly Route
At Invergordon Bus Tours we don’t forget that our valued visiting cruise guests are on holiday, and some may wish for a later start to their day in Scotland’s most visited mainland cruise port of call.
Although most day tours will leave the port shortly after a given cruise ship’s arrival, we’re delighted to offer late risers the opportunity to enjoy a later breakfast and still join a memorable day tour.
On leaving Invergordon, this tour will travel south to the first stop in the picturesque Highland village of Beauly.
On reboarding the coach, the tour will continue through scenic countryside before turning north and travelling along the western shore of legendary Loch Ness. The tour will pause alongside the loch for a photo stop.
Soon after leaving Loch Ness, the tour coach will arrive in the centre of our compact Scottish Highland capital city of Inverness.
Our tour guide and coach driver will be pleased to advise you on all that’s on offer in the Highlands’ main urban centre before you leave the coach to spend ample time there on your own.
You may wish to visit the vibrant Victorian Market food hall for an authentic Scottish street food lunch.
Once all guests have reboarded the coach timely for departure, the tour will return north to Invergordon in plenty of time in advance of ‘all aboard’ and departure.

Invergordon Bus Tours Cancellation and Refund Policy
- Cancellation of Cruise Ship Visit:
- Full Cancellation: If a cruise ship’s visit to the port of Invergordon is entirely cancelled, all advance online payments made for seats on any scheduled bus/coach tours for that day will be refunded, less any administrative charges incurred by Invergordon Bus Tours.
- Postponement of Cruise Ship Visit:
- Rescheduled Tour: If a scheduled visit is postponed to a new date, the tour will be rescheduled to the new date, subject to the availability of the tour vehicle, driver, and tour guide. If the tour can be run on the new date, no refunds will be given purely due to the rescheduling.
- Unavailability on New Date: If the tour cannot be run on the new date, the refund policy for a missed visit, as described in section 1, will apply.
- Missed Tour by Buyer:
- No Show: If a buyer fails to join their tour timely for its departure, no refund will be available.
- Illness: If a buyer is unable to join their tour due to illness, a refund will be provided if written confirmation from the ship’s medical officer is delivered to the tour operator at least one hour before the tour’s scheduled departure time.
- Early Termination of Tour:
- Mechanical Breakdown or Similar Issues: If a tour is terminated early due to a mechanical breakdown or similar issue, a proportional refund will be given based on the portion of the tour not delivered. For example, if a 5-hour tour is cut short by 1 hour, a 20% refund of the seat price will be given.
- Alternative Transport: Alternative transport will be provided to complete the remainder of the tour and ensure timely return to the port.
- Weather Conditions:
- Less than Ideal Weather: No refund will be available if the weather is less than ideal on the day of the tour.
- Obstructed Views: No refund will be available if a significant focal point of the tour, such as a panoramic view, is obstructed due to weather conditions.
- Tour Diversions:
- Uncontrollable Diversions: No refund will be given if a tour is diverted due to reasons beyond the control of Invergordon Bus Tours, such as police instructions or road accidents.
This policy ensures that our guests are informed of the conditions under which refunds will be provided and underlines the commitment of Invergordon Bus Tours to delivering reliable and enjoyable tour experiences.
